Another dating question has come in this week. Let’s tackle it straight away:
Question: See I met this guy on myspace, that turns out to be a friend of my best friend. She said he was very nice, and even called him to let me talk to him. Well last friday I met him in person. See we talked before but only on myspace. So i guess you could say that it was a blind date. Well I thought we hit it off pretty good. But I could not tell what he felt. I mean we talked, we walked together and everything. Then on saturday my sister and I called him and talked to him. He seemed to have had a good time the other night. And since when i first talked to him he barely said a word, and saturday he said alot. Well we sent him two text messages, and he never responded to any of them.
I am confused. What are some signs to show that he may have been interested????what do you get from what I wrote at the top??
Answer: Give it a little time — some guys aren't that into texting, so maybe drop him a note via myspace and tell him you had a good time, and would like to catch up again.
If he doesn't respond to that… in a reasonable timeframe… I'd begin to think maybe he's not very interested.
He does sound shy though - given it took him a while to open up - so I would allow for that by easing him into the whole thing, and giving him time to process.
