What’s this week’s question? Let’s dive straight in…
Question: plays video games? And I’m not talking about a kid or a teenager, I’m talking about a grown man.
My wife and I have a friend and she’s been dating for the past year or so. She’s dated a few guys and most of them played video games as a hobby, but she’s also dated a few guys that didn’t and she found them to be more mature overall.
She says that she thinks guys should give up video games by their twenties because video games are childish and are a turn off for most women.
Thoughts? Opinions?
For the record: I’m a 26 year old guy. I don’t really play video games. I used to when I was younger but gave it up. I pretty much agree with her though.
Answer: HeLL NO! I wouldnt most likely those guys live with their mom or dnt work & get addicted to it wont listen to u!…like i get it play for like a few mins but for day after day for hrs after hrs UGGGHHH!..

I don’t see anything wrong with it - I like my free time to go shopping or whatever, I certainly wouldn’t care if my boyfriend wanted to play video games- I used to play video games with my ex anyway :L
Im a 24 year old female and I do enjoy to spend some of my spare time playing on my xbox. I think it depends on certain games. Games like car racing are a little childish but games like assassins creed have great in depth story lines with real historical places and people which can be very interesting. I am working to get into environmental planning and conservation after studying zoology, my spare time generally revolves around volunteering with wildlife trusts, socializing (with my bf and friends) and walking the dog but I do love my quiet time in front of the xbox when I am just chilling out and I don’t see anything wrong with it. I think if you were dating someone who was totally obsessed and it used up all their spare time it would be totally different as that will affect the relationship.
Many people see cartoons as childish but I have a few friends 30+ who do enjoy watching them when getting ready for work in the morning. I think as long as you are an overall mature independent person and as long as your hobby doesn’t negatively affect any aspect of you or your partners life it shouldn’t matter.
