Question: Are First Dates Fun for You, or Are They Emotionally Nerve-wracking?
Answer: I hate being in any new relationship. I feel extremely insecure and nervous. The longer I am with someone the more into them I am and the more secure I feel.
First dates are horrible.
It’s only worthwhile if it’s both.
They are hot and sexy.
I’ve never been very nervous on a first date. I make an effort to have fun, but sometimes you just can’t connect with someone.
I only went to one date and it was ok because I had exchanged a number of emails with the guy, but I can’t imagine going for a coffee with a stranger and put myself in a position of being evaluated like a piece of merchandise by a stranger.
They can be interesting, but I wouldn’t really call it fun. If both people are trying to put forth their best first impression, how much fun can they really have? Firsts dates are nerve wracking for me like they were when I was younger. Now it is more of what my schedule is for the day. Worrying about it does me no good. Being that I’m the man and I’m the one who generally pursued and scheduled the time/place, I’m a bit more in my own comfort zone.
